Due to Covid-19 we are changing our renewal guidelines through 2020. If your CPR and/or First Aid certification expires in 2020, you took your last class through Action Safety Education or anther organization that included a hands-on skills session you may renew your card for one 1year. To complete the renewal process you must complete the online course. If you did not take your previous course through Action Safety Education you will be required to email your current certification card to firstname.lastname@example.org, please include a picture of the front and back of your card. Once we have verified the card and you have completed the online course a completion card will be issued valid for one year. If you took your class through Action Safety Education you will not need to send an email to us as we have your records on file.
The Action Safety Education courses meet the OSHA standards for training when combined with a brief hands-on skills class. They are intended for the general workplace and for personal/home training.
The CPR courses are not designed for medical professionals or professional rescuers.
The CPR, AED and First Aid courses have two components. Students must complete the online course before attending a skills class with an authorized trainer to receive a completion card. Payment for the online course includes unlimited access to course material for one year. The final test must be completed within 30 days of registration. Payment for the skills class is not included. Authorized Training Centers providing skills courses set their own prices and are paid directly for the course.
